Bilingual Psychotherapist
Jessica Rodriguez, LSW, is a bilingual therapist offering in-person sessions in Chicago and virtual therapy across Illinois. As a first-generation Mexican-American, Jessica understands the weight of navigating cultura, mental health stigma, and family expectations, often all at once.
Her approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and grounded in liberation psychology. Jessica creates a space where Latinx clients can show up fully, with their pain, their resilience, and their desire to grow. She works with young adults, first-gen students, children, and adolescents navigating anxiety, depression, identity questions, and relationship stress.
Jessica blends CBT, narrative therapy, and culturally responsive practices to help clients process emotions, explore boundaries, and feel more confident in who they are. She believes therapy should feel like a partnership, one that empowers you to own your story.
"Your story matters — even the parts you’ve learned to hide. Let’s explore it together"
We know Latinx mental health is shaped by more than stress. Things like language, family loyalty, shame and gender roles al impact how we carry and express pain. You don’t have to translate your story here-we get it.
Jessica supports Latinx teens and adults with anxiety, identity, and self-esteem issues. Her approach is warm, affirming, and collaborative.
